SR Connect’s 1 Gig package now includes ProtectIQ and ExperienceIQ

July 3, 2024

Starting July 15, 2024, all Singing River Connect subscribers with 1 Gig service will receive the ProtectIQ and ExperienceIQ enhanced mobile app features at no additional cost.

The My SR Connect app is the remote control for managing the SR Connect Wi-Fi network, and the Ultimate Wi-Fi Experience offers increased control through ProtectIQ and ExperienceIQ. After seeing the great number of online threats blocked by ProtectIQ and hearing SR Connect subscribers praise ExperienceIQ’s parental controls, these tools are being included to increase the value of the 1 Gig fiber internet service. As subscribers connect more devices, the need to protect and control the network grows.

For subscribers who currently have the Ultimate Wi-Fi Experience, bills will be credited each month going forward. For subscribers who do not, these features will be enabled in the My SR Connect app. Visit singingriverconnect.com/app-a to learn more about these features and to download the app if you haven’t already.

Singing River Connect is owned by Singing River Electric, a cooperative, which means we focus on people instead of profits. When the opportunity to offer this benefit to SR Connect’s 1 Gig subscribers presented itself, deciding to do it was easy.
